Soybean is a legume which is mostly produced in the middle belt with Benue state being the highest producer in Nigeria.
Soya bean crop has more than 36 percent protein, over 30 percent carbohydrates, and a significant amount of dietary fiber, vitamins and minerals. The 20 percent oil content of the crop makes it the most important crop for producing edible vegetable oil after groundnut.
To meet the demands of our offtakers, Soya Beans is being sourced locally in Nigeria.
Nigeria’s production in soya beans has been on the increase due to increased consumption but it is still below the required demand.
